Invest in Brighter Tomorrows
For more than 50 years, River Forest Community Center has been a cornerstone of our community, providing high-quality early childhood care and education, youth programs, sports, summer camps, and lifelong opportunities for people of all ages. Generations of children have grown up here, families have built community, and friendships have formed that last a lifetime.
A New Chapter Begins
We’re thrilled to share that the Village of River Forest has acquired the Civic Center building, securing a stable, long-term home for our programs. This milestone means the Community Center will remain right where it belongs, at the heart of River Forest, for years to come.
Why Your Support Matters Now
A secure home is a strong foundation, but the work of building on it is just beginning. More families are relying on us than ever, from our newly expanded infant and toddler program to our youth sports and recreation programs. At the same time, rising costs continue to challenge our ability to keep programs affordable, staffed with caring professionals, and accessible to every family who needs them.
Your gift helps us give young children a safe, nurturing place to learn and grow, offer young people a place to belong, play, and build confidence, and keep our programs strong and affordable for families across our community.
Together, We Build Brighter Tomorrows
Whether you’re a longtime family, a local business, or a neighbor who believes in the power of community, your support makes a lasting difference. Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure River Forest Community Center remains a place where children can learn, play, grow, and belong for generations to come.
With gratitude,
Jonathan Livingston, Executive Director
